Kutia Muhammad '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kutia Muhammad,I am a 2013 graduate at Animo Locke Tech Charter High School.I have always enjoyed doing high jump for track team ever since I was in middle school, and after I got my grades appropiate and found out my high school had a team, I was elated. Before moving, at my former high school North Hollywood Senior High, I was priviledged to be the only sophmore on varsity high jump. While my fellow team mates were jumping 5'2" and 5'3",as a 6'1" tall sophmore last year I was jumping 5'8" and even 5'10". My coach there, Royce Lanham, said I was a pleasure to have on the team and helped me improve my high jump and triple jump skills. By the end of the year i went from jumping 5'4" in the high jump to jumping 5'10" and jumping 32'3" to 37'7" for triple jump. I aspire to pursue track and basketball in college to stay active and to have fun. Although my dream is to go to Harvard, MIT, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, or Purdue for college I am open to any schools that are interested in offering me partial or full scholarships.
