I am long distance runner from Goleta, California and attened Dos Pueblos High School and am part of the 2013 class. I have been on my school's varsity Cross Country and Track teams since my freshman year and have made the all-league team for Cross all three years as well, and ran the fastest 3 mile cross country time in the country for the class of 2013 this past season (14:27). In the classroom I have a 3.92 GPA.
I am looking for a school that gives me a chance to compete at the highest level in D1 or D2 as well as recieve a quality education. As of right now I intend on pursuing a major in a business field, but have not thought about it to much. On the athletic side of things I can offer a program a great work ethic, leadership, and experience. I have a strong work ethic already as I am one of only a few people on my high school team to show up to morning practice at 6:30 three days a week. I also have the leadership ability needed as I was named track and cross country captain as a junior, and have been recommended by my teachers for different leadership conferences. Finally I can offer experience because I have already run in many big races (Arcadia, State Cross Country, State Indoor Track) and have been a 2 time All- American at 3000 meters at the JO national championships.
