I can make a difference. I am a single sport athlete, dedicating all of my training toward being the best track athlete I can be. I am a very hard worker and will do whatever it takes to be a champion. I am a good teammate who supports others through encouragement and example and most importantly, I am a good person. I have an excellent reputation and take pride in being a kind and compassionate young man who plays by the rules and can always be counted on.
Last year as a Junior, I was the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Div. 1 Champion in the 400m, 2nd at the Stanford Invitational, 3rd at Mt. SAC Relays, runner-up at our Masters Meet Finals, and competed in the 2016 CIF State Meet. I've competed at the Varsity level since Freshman year, anchoring our 4x400R since Sophomore year. I also anchor our 4x100R.
This season promises to be my best one yet. I currently lead the Sac-Joaquin Section in the 200m. and 400m. I recently placed 1st at the 2017 Stanford Invitational with a time of 48.12a in the Boys 400m. That mark places me #2 in the state.
Academically, I meet all of the NCAA Div. 1 requirements for Freshman eligibility as a full qualifier. My transcripts and test scores can be verified via the NCAA Eligibility Center.
I assure you that I have what it takes to be a successful student-athlete at the collegiate level. I am focused and determined to achieve excellent grades in the classroom and excellent times on the track.
