My goal is to be able to run for a college track and cross country team such as my current coaches. They inspired me mostly to want to run after high school since they both have post highschool college running experience. I know that in able to do this I have to maintain and excellent academic and athletic record and become involved with talking to college recruiters and gaining some exposure as young as I can in order to have a higher likelihood of becoming part of a college team.
My goals for high school have been set and I know what I need to do in order to reach my goals. Academically speaking, my high school goal is to by my junior year, have a solid 3.8 GPA, I will accomplish this by taking advantage of extra study hours and balancing my time. In athletics, my goal is to in cross country, have a 15:00 minute 5k, in track I am aiming for a 4:20 1600 and a 9:20 3200. These are goals that I will work towards achieving by my junior year of high school .
