My name is Antoine Coates and I attend Castro Valley High School in California. I run both the 400 and 800 meters but my primary and best event is the 400. My Personal Record for the 400 is 50.02, 200 is 22.76 and 800 is 2:08.70. I am a extremely determined athlete and I work hard to achieve the best. I have a lot to prove to people and to myself. All I want to do is win and when I lose I don't think it's the end of the world. I make my corrections and get back on the track to improve on what I have practiced. I'm currently rank 8th in 400 meters in California North Coast section in my Senior year. I have many aspirations and goals in my track career and I'm just getting started. I have been and asset and team leader with extreme confidence that loves to win. My coach always tells me "Anybody can be good, but those that separate themselves and work hard at everything they will become great" I've lived by this for the 4 years of high school. I will continue to work hard because I want to be the best ever to run track and field. I believe no obstacles are too difficult to achieve and with hard work and training anything is possible. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. This is who I am. I live by it everyday and I love the sport of track and field and give it my all on that track. Any college that overlooks me will only motivate and inspire me to run faster. Hopefully, one day I will make it to the Olympics and run for my country and will remember the road it took and the support I had along the way to get me their. My goals for my senior year I am training everyday to accomplish. Are making it to the California State Meet and achieve the top 10 ranking in the 400 meters while running a consistent 48 and under this season. I am registered with the NCAA eligibility center and I would be extremely grateful to go to your school and to graduate with a degree in Criminal Justice and pursue a career in the FBI. I hope to obtain a Scholarship from your school and continue my student athlete career. I have obtained a 3.2 GPA in first semester of my senior year with and sat score is 1160 and my overall GPA is 2.66. I would love to compete at the College level and through hard work and dedication I believe I will be an asset to any roster. You can reach me at 510-417-8061 or email me at [email protected]. Thank you for your time and God bless you.
