Personal Statement
My name is Kevin Ackerman and I am a 6'1" 170 lbs. track athlete. I compete in the Triple Jump, Long Jump, and 100m. As a Sophomore I qualified for regionals and took 3rd place in the HIgh jump in coastal conference. My junior year I took second place in the triple jump and placed fifth in the long jump. I qualified for regionals in the triple jump. My senior year I won first place in the long jump for coastal conference with a jump of 20'9". I have 2 years experience as track captain. I am an open minded team player who learns quick. I still have much to improve to reach my goals, but for this coming year I would like to improve my long jump to 23' 5", my triple jump to 46'6", and my 100m to 11.0s.
