One of my goals in life is to play college tennis. What makes me a good fit for your team is that I am a very easy going person and an extremely hard worker. For the past two years I have been playing first singles for my high school tennis team and both years I was voted the team MVP by my coaches. I was also voted by my teammates as most dedicated player in both my freshman and sophomore years. In addition, I was named as a league all-star in my sophomore year. I have won a variety of USTA Level 7 tournaments in New England. Growing up in a house with a father that grew up playing rugby I constantly have an itch to play and always enjoy stepping out on the court and playing better than the last time. Every ball I hit adds to my passion for this sport.
From an academic standpoint, I try to learn as much as I can and attend school for the overall educational experience. My favorite subjects in school are English and History. In college I would like to major in History and eventually become a teacher. The reason why I would like to become a teacher is because I want to mentor the future of society as well as give back to the community that has given me so much.
