Conor Cunningham '11 Recruiting Profile

When I first picked up a racquet in the fifth grade, I never imagined that tennis would become such an important and influential part of my life. Tennis has taught me how manage my time, work hard, and be part of a team. My academic intrests lie in math and science. I live in the Indiana so it would be nice to attend a Midwest college, however I am willing to consider anywhere in the United States if it means I can play on the tennis team. The high school I attend currently has 4500 students, therefore I would be comfortable in large or small colleges. My freshman year I played on the freshman team, and my sophomore year I played on junior varsity, I was undefeated for both seasons. My junior year I started on varsity and lost twice, once in singles and once in doubles. My junior year my partner and I won the MIC at two doubles without dropping a set. My overall highschool record is 39-2. I work extremely hard and willing to give all my time to making the team I play for better. I can't imagine not playing tennis everyday and it is my dream to play tennis in college.
