Brandon Lee '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Brandon Lee and I attend Punahou School.

I have been playing on the varsity tennis team since freshman year and have started every year since. I have reached the semifinals or better in each state tournament I have played in. As a freshman, I was third in state for doubles and fourth in the conference. As a sophomore, I was runner up in the doubles and third in the conference. As a junior I placed fourth in the singles and second in the conference. As a junior, I was elected a captain by my fellow team-mates and coaches. This is very unusual since the captain is usually a senior. I always push myself to the fullest which also pushes the people around me to get better. I can learn an immense amount of information in a short period of time, something my coach likes to call "listening and doing." Being a part of a team that has set the national record (for any sport) for consecutive state championships does put pressure on me, but I embrace it and I have learned to love pressure and play with it.
