My name is Ryan Ermert and I am a junior at La Costa Canyon High School in Carlsbad, CA. I currently have a 3.75 GPA and scored a 1980 on the SAT. I will be in the 2012 graduating class and have been playing as a starter on my school's Varsity Tennis Team since my freshman year. I started playing tennis when I was 6 years old and have been with the same coach, Don Henson, for the last 10 years. He has worked with me to develop an all-around game that is successful in both singles and doubles.

- ActivitiesI have volunteered as a ball person at the Mercury Insurance Open in Carlsbad since I was 10 years old. In 2010, I was promoted to Team Leader. At the 2010 Fed Cup Finals of USA vs Italy in San Diego, I was also a Team Leader for the ball persons. I was also asked to lead the USA Team onto the court carring the American Flag during the trophy & closing ceremonies. I am founder and the current president of the La Costa Canyon High School Tennis Club. This being my junior year, I am serving as Assistant Captain for the Varsity Tennis Team.
