Personal Statement
I'm currently in my second year at American River College Community College. In my freshman year, I qualified for the state championship tournament in Ojai, CA. My college coach, Bo Jabery-Madison, awarded me most inspirational for the year and I was named 2nd team all-conference. As a team, we finished 15-2. In tennis and my academics, I'm a very hard worker and I enjoy challenges. I have improved my game since high school, and I enjoy working on different aspects of my tennis skills. I'm interested in becoming a high school history teacher and tennis coach. I've been very active in my community, volunteering at local elementary schools' reading partnership programs.
