I have been around the sport of swimming since I was 3 years old. I swam competitively until around age 11. I took a few years off and started swimming at the high school level in my freshman year. I am currently in my junior year and feel with my all around athletic ability, as well as my drive and determination to always better myself, that I could be a great asset to any collegiate swim team. I love being in the pool and being able to always strive to better my times with each swim. My best event is the 50 free, but I also do pretty well at the 100 free. I have been on all three state relays (200 medley, 200 and 400 free) as well as swam the 50 free each year in high school including this year, my junior year. I qualified and swam the 100 free my sophomore and junior years. I want my future coach to know how much I want to swim at the next level. My desire to swim at the next level has intensified over the past three years after having such a successful high school career. I maintain a 3.46 cumulative GPA. I play football as well as swim. I am currently just a seasonal swimmer, but I'm looking forward to investing more time in this sport. I feel that with my well rounded athletic abilities I could bring great things to a college swim program. I am currently looking at a career in the Business Finance area.
