As a high school swimmer aspiring to become a swimmer in college, I have set my goals relatively high for someone of my age. However, education always comes before extracurricular activities, and I strive to be a Mechanical Engineer. I always try to keep my grades above a 3.7 GPA and I will work extra hard if it drops below that. I feel that I would be a good swimming candidate for any team because of my ability to work well with others, as it has always been a strength of mine. I do however, have a lot of self-motivation and the ability to reach a goal when I devote myself. My grades in comparison, I feel, are higher than others at my level. I think that I would be an excellent choice for any team.
