I’m looking to transfer in Fall 2015 to a larger university that offers the complete college experience. Strong swimming program, respected academics, active student community and vibrant campus life (i.e., major sports, on-campus events, clubs, nearby shops, etc.). FPU has an outstanding swimming program and academics, and I’m grateful for a great freshman year, but it’s a small campus of mostly day-student commuters, located in a residential neighborhood.
This season I made substantial progress both academically (3.2 GPA) and athletically. At our mid-season meet (UNLV Invitational), I posted lifetime bests in both my 50Y Freestyle (21.06) and 100Y (45.75) Freestyle. In addition to those substantial drops, I anchored the 200Y and 400Y Freestyle Relays with times of 20.30 and 44.40, respectively. I was positioned for times of about 20.50 and 44.80, respectively, for conference finals when a fluke injury off-campus ended my season prematurely. Fully recovered, I've resumed swimming and training and am highly motivated to make up for those lost times.
If I sound like a possible fit for your swimming program and university, please contact me so we can get to know each other and explore possibilities.
