Ever since I was a little boy, I've aspired to be a collegiate athlete. It took me a little while to figure out which sport I would compete in, but as of last year, I know what I want to do. I've played water polo all throughout high school, and in my junior year I joined the swim team as well. Being my first year of competitive swimming, I was nervous. However, as the season went on, I realized that I had a natural talent for it.
I'm completely committed to helping my team win. Whether this means sitting the bench or being the go-to guy, whatever I can do to help get the W, consider it done. I'm very competitive and I have all the motivation in the world to succeed at the collegiate level. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.
In the classroom, I'm willing to do anything to raise a grade, and I maintain a 3.0 GPA. I also volunteer at FACESS, an organization that helps to spread awareness and stop human sex trafficking. I am currently the Senior Class Vice President and very actively involved in student government.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and in the pool. I am open to all options and will do everything possible to make a good impression on my future coach. I hope to become a great role model to my 4 younger sibling and make my parents proud.
