Personal Statement

So much has changed over the past year of swim and College.  I found what I thought was my permanant College and Swim Team, only to be told that the College was shutting down their Swim Program.over my summer break.  Devastating and frustrating news.  I have decided to stay home this next year at a local Junior College to continue my undergraduate work while looking for a new College and SwimTeam.   I will Not be competing for the Jr. College, as I want to maintain my 3 years of eligibility for my future College Program.   I just found out that my Club Coach in which we had set our goal plan for this next year, is leaving my team.  I am going to continue to swim through this uncertainty of training.  My goal still to continue to improve times and move forward with my Swim and College future.  I will be going through the extensive process of reaching out to Coaches and applying as a transfer student to Colleges.  Please reach out to me as well.  We all have busy lives, but I would love to hear as much about your program as possible.  I will update my times and my profile as possible, as I'm not sure what this next year of training will bring, but I will stay commited.

  • I was just recently promoted to the National level of my club. I was the only athlete in the Pre - National level to move up at the conclusion of our short course season. I tried to follow every race plan given to me by my Coaches and gave every effort to my team, and practices. I really look forward to this new challenge and season.
  • 2015 SOCAL Aquatics (Senior2)
  • I have moved Club teams to SOCAL Aquatics due to schedule conflicts. SOCAL was the top recommendation from my head Coach if I wasn't going to be able to swim for the Nadadores. I look forward to the next short course season, and getting to know my Coaches and Team mates better.

  • 2016 Circle City Eastern Champs Heats and Finals
  • 1/15/16 to 1/17/16
  • I look forward to these meets every year. They are a lot of fun for all the teams and swimmers. Trophies and bragging rights are involved. It was actually my SC season taper meet for Club swimming. Unfortunately, I got really sick with the flu and respiratory infection midway through the season. I was able to swim at a couple meets but never was able to compete full strength or with a taper and tech suit. I did pretty well with a shorter season than expected. I dropped in every event that I was able to swim. The number of events was limited, so I didn't swim all my best events, but I at least swam some. My times were 200 Free 1:50.18, 200 Fly 1:59.59, 200 IM 2:06.60, 400 IM 4:26.87, 1650 Free 17:29.26
  • Camp/Event
  • Western Zone Senior Championships 2015
  • 7/29/15 to 8/02/15
  • Senior Travel Meet with my new Club. Very Hot Conditions, but good outdoor pools for competition. Dropped time in 200 Fly LCM 2:24.12, 200 BK LCM 2:30.61. 5 more events to swim. I dropped in my 100 fly LCM 1:03.67. My legs aren't as strong as normal right now. I have not had any dryland training this summer, so the normal leg strength was missing, but my form felt good, and my Coach agreed. Form awesome, just legs too weak right now. Get the dryland training back and short course season should be really good.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
