My name is John Lupu. I am currently a junior in high school student at Canyon High School in Canyon Country, Southern California. I swim for the swim team at Canyon High School an plan on finishing my high school career with four years of Varsity under my belt. I am a club swimmer at Canyons Aquatic Club and I have been with this club for about 5 years. I am looking forward in advancing my swimming career into the college landscape. My academics are pretty good for a student-athlete. I am in the top 10% of my class. My aspirations after high school, is to go swim for college while focusing on my academics in college where I can eventually major in government and political science, or possibly aerospace engineering, so when I graduate from college I can endure other endeavors that await my life in the future. I hope to bring to my college swim team my commitment to the team, my best possible effort in practice as well as meets in order to help our team succeed to the fullest extent. I plan on bringing my supportive character in order to support my teammates in the hope that they will succeed to their fullest extent. I am excited to see what the future has in store for me as far as high school and college swimming.
