My life has been built around the fact that I need to graduate from college and get the job that will make me happy. At a young age I learned that I could do better in school if I pushed myself, and soon began to do the best I could. My friends also pushed themselves and we ended up pushing each other to do better. In middle school I played football for one year and decided that I should stick to soccer because I was the smallest kid in our class. I also joined wrestling in middle school and found out that I was good at it. I stuck with wrestling and pushed myself to get better at it for the team. Sophomore year I dropped 12 lbs for the wrestling team so we could have a full team. In track Freshman year I only took it to stay in shape, but quickly fell in love with pole vaulting and the 4 by 8 relay. The Freshman Sophomore meet we took 1st with a time of 10:12. I worked hard after that to improve my own speed and stamina. Over the summer I took some online courses to keep up with my studies so I could do better in school.
