I’ve played soccer since I was 3 years old. My goal in life is to play collegiate soccer at the highest level possible and have a chance to play for the National team, MLS in the USA, or the Bundesliga in Germany. In college, I want to major in Political Science and International Studies.
Growing up in a military family, I lived in Germany from the age of 10-13 years old. It was there that my love for the game of soccer really grew. I played for a German soccer team, TSV Schonaich. No one on the team spoke English, not even the coach. We won our league two years in a row and our team was promoted to the next higher division each year. I also played on the travel USYS Stuttgart Soccer Team and the ODP Europe Soccer Team. Each team travelled all over Europe playing in international tournaments. My USYS Stuttgart team won the “all Europe” indoor and outdoor tournaments my last year and my ODP Europe team spent a week in Spain playing against Spanish teams. I currently play for PWSI 03 NPL as well as train at Virginia 03 NPL PDP/ODP events.
During my time in Europe, I traveled to 18 countries and was fascinated with the different cultures and economies. This experience encouraged me to apply and be accepted to the Center for International Studies and Languages program for high school.
Although I've played most of my career at the 7 or 11 position, my coach moved me to the 2 position this season in our current 4-3-3 formation to bring some speed to our defense and build from the back for our offense. My coaches define me as a “speedy playmaker” and I’ve always been the fastest player on every team. My biggest assets are my speed, dedication, hard work ethic, coachability, and my understanding of the strategy behind the game.
