David Parsons '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is David Parsons from Chesapeake, Virginia.  I am currently a rising sophomore at Grassfield High School, with a current 3.9 GPA, and will be graduating with the class of 2020.  My College aspirations are to study the sciences, and possibly engineering.  I currently play Defense and serve as Captain for Golden Ball Soccer Club at position of Center Back. I have two solid years of High School play at JV for my High School Team, and expect to play Varsity in the Spring.  My Height is 5’8” and my current weight is 154 (I am still growing!).  I have played soccer since U8, and found my way as a starter on competitive travel teams at U11.  I have played in TASL, VSLI (Div 1), and VPL/NPSL.  I have been a key player for my teams, as we have won several Tournaments, and have been competitive in all we enter.  On the Grassfield JV team, I was instrumental in keeping opposing teams from scoring, as in the past two seasons we have only been scored on 5 times per season over 13 and 14 games respectfully.  I am highly regarded by my Coaches as a starter that needs to be on the field to help the team advance.  I train 12 months per year with four different coaches, and have become a versatile, quick, and strong player.  My upcoming Tournaments are August Cup in Germantown, MD (8/25/17); the CASL Tournament in Raleigh, NC (9/2/17); and the Capital Fall Classic in Richmond, VA (11/12/17).  Once play schedules are determined, I will post accordingly.  I am easy to find, GBSA 2001, Defense, Jersey#24; try to get by me.
