Brendan Bucksbaum '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'10" wide midfielder/ wide back from Rutland, Vermont and will graduate in the class of 2011. I am a 3-year high school varsity starter and one of the current team captains. I am a solid academic student with a GPA of 99.547, class rank of 17/208 and I am an officer of the Rutland High School National Honor Society. I have played club soccer since a young child and have 3 years experience playing in the Region I premier league. I have been privileged to assist my club team in winning the Vermont State Championship for the last 3 years as well as winning the USCSL regional championship this season and look forward to the upcoming national championships in Virginia Beach. I pride myself on having excellent fitness and relentless hard work in the classroom and on the field. I am interested in pursuing a degree in international business and would like to find a school where I can be challenged academically and athletically. I understand that playing soccer at the collegiate level is an honor and privilege and I am willing to play at any division level where I am felt to be able to make a contribution. I am most comfortable on the east coast but I am willing to travel further to achieve the right fit.
