Standards set for myself in life with passion for the game of soccer encompass my ambition as a Goal Keeper.
After playing soccer from the age of five I accomplished the task of becoming a team member of a Competitive Soccer Team at age eight. Always preferring to kick the ball until sun down, only to awake with the desire to play more. As seasons passed I pushed myself understanding the importance of training, listening and watching as coaches, trainers and my parents supported and encouraged growth in the game. Knowing the importance of excelling academically to enhance my abilities on the field allow for a healthy mind and physical state when seeking a collegiate education. Playing soccer on a collegiate level would be a dream come true. My specialty on the field and where my heart truly lies is in the GOAL. As I entered Junior High I progressed academically to where I recently was recognized as an Honor Roll recipient. This was accomplished all while playing early morning intramural soccer, Keeper training after school and regular team practices with scrimmages. Seeking improvement is a personal goal I set for me on and off the field. Having my mind and body in the game pays off when our team is down to the last minutes of a tournament. Using skill in each game and seeking my personal best as the Goalie or as a player on the field is when I find myself most content in life. Being paired with a college where I will ultimately excel academically and physically as a team player is a GOAL I would like to reach in the near future. College would be a resource to me and me as a resource to any college I play with in the near future.
