Manav Soorma '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Christpher Manav Soorma.  I am a well balanced person. My goal is to play high level soccer for a good college. I have been playing since I could kick a ball, I started with city league but I was quickly admired and recruited by comp coaches. I have played with 2 teams & I get along with any team. I am not the kind to goof off, I take it very seriously and will work hard to get where I want to. I listen to coaches well, if you tell me to do or fix something, you can trust I will. I have always played as a starter in Premier 1,  Premier 2, high school season and many tournaments. I play as a Striker & perhaps a lot like a "SHARK" by being in the attack mode! I am always on the lookout for an opportunity to score or create opportunities for my teammates by working hard to create chances and assist them! I put a lot of Pressure on the opponents' defense and force them into making errors and then counter attack!  In every team and season, I find a way to score, that is what I want to do, but it's not all I can do.  I run 100 meters in 11.9 Seconds! and 200 Meters in 24.8 seconds!  I am not lazy on the field, I will track back on defense and sprint back up or make an assist to a teammate. Other than on the field, I am a even balanced person, gets along with most everyone, I am serious when I need to be but I know how to have fun. I like to encourage my team and take the leader role. In school I have a 4.0 GPA and take many honors classes. Other athletes might have some of those things, but I have all of them, and that's what sets me apart.
