Jose Pablo Serrano '22 Recruiting Profile

I have playing every year of my life since I was four years old. I was born in Mexico and moved to the US when I was six. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. Soccer is a big part of my life in addition to school and family. I come from a family of former scholarship athletes including my mother and grandfather, who serve as my inspiration to pursue my goals as an athlete. I am determined to play soccer at the collegiate level and also make my parents proud.

I have been playing club soccer for the last 8 years and have grown both personally and as a student athlete. I am frequently told that I have excellent ball control and very quick feet. I also have the ability see the game unfold which enables me to be a very proficient passer.

I am looking forward to working hard over the next four years to fulfill my goal of playing soccer at the highest level possible. I am interested in an education in the field of physical therapy because I want to help injured athletes get back on their feet quickly.
