Szymon Zegar '12 Recruiting Profile

I started playing soccer at age 7 and ever since it's been my one and only passion. I've been playing competitively and always trying to play the best possible soccer to improve my skills. But i would consider myself a great team leader and player. I have been captain of both my club teams once i reached 14 and am a great team leader. I always do things to make the team better and always stay positive. 
 In highschool i've been a starter since freshman year and became a captain of Central High School my Junior Year. Also, my Junior year this past year my club team, u16Boys  Montgomery United Black, wont the Eastern pennsylvania State Cup and automatically qualified for the Region 1 Championships. This past year my club team and I excelled on many levels. 
Personally as an athlete and a student, I am searching for the best college possible that provides not only a great soccer program but also a great education. School has been my top priority even with soccer, maintaing my grades and keeping my studies first and it has shown with my Highschool GPA being a 3.74. 
If you asked me what I would want to do as my profession when I grew up, with out a doubt I'd answer "play soccer", plain and simply. Everyday I wake up and love soccer, you can say I eat sleep and play soccer all day. It is my true passion and I can imagine myself playing it for the rest of my life. I enjoy practice and i believe how you practice is how you play so I give it my all every practice and come off the field knowing I gave it my all. 
So all in all I hope you got to learn about me and hope to seek me out as a student athlete for your college creating a good balance between soccer and academics.
