Kyle Beekman '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kyle Beekman and I am a Senior at Holy Cross high school in Dunmore, Pennsylvania. I am  5'9 and 140 lbs. I was a Varsity starter my freshman , sophomore and junior year and was just named Captain of the varsity squad. I also played eight years of club ball with FC America in Scranton, and  I now play for NEPA United Elite as defender and midfielder.   I started as defender my freshman year and helped the team get to the  divisional play offs. My best attribute is being able to steal the ball from the attacker, dribble and distribute it to my strikers or midfielders. My sophomore season, I was moved up to striker and was third on my team in goals with 9 as well as 8 assists, and our team finished the regular season undefeated (first time in school history) and won a division title and finished second in the district final.   I was one of only two sophomores chosen for First Team All Region in my division.  My junior season I was moved back to defender our team made it to the district tile and finished second place, I was again chosen first team all region .  I am a hard worker and very competitive and feel that I am a versatile player . Outside the soccer field I am interested in track and snowboarding as well as community service .   My goal is to play soccer at the college level I would love to play and attend a college in the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic Region. but if the opportunity arises I would got to West Coast.  I believe  I have a very strong work ethic and have a drive to succeed .
