My name is Jamal Owens. I was born in Niagara Falls ON and I am 15 years old. I currently play Center Back for the Kingston United Soccer club at the L3 level. Our team won the Eastern Regional League championship in both 2016 and 2017 and competed in the Ontario Provincial soccer tournament. I love sports and plan to play soccer in College or University at the minimum. I am interested in pursuing a career in sports therapy or training as a secondary profession next to actually playing sports. I also like and play basketball and hold local 1st place records for track and field. I have been playing soccer for 7 years, including 3 at representative level and 2 at the L3 level. I am a team player and have always been recognized for my sportsmanlike qualities. I am a strong, solid bodied young man who can run as fast as I am strong and I am always noted for my speed. I am very dedicated and spend extra hours outside of normal training to enhance my skills. I am currently enrolled in Academic (advanced) classes at school to ensure I push myself to top level with my grades.
