My name is JT Brown, my goal is to play collegiate soccer. I am a student athlete who works hard on the field and in the classroom. I started playing soccer at the young age of 3. It wasn't until 7th grade I decided that it was something I really wanted to do in high school and college. I play for God first, my team second, and for myself last. I worked very hard to play at the high school level and am currently working on taking my game to the next level. I am a leader. I was the captain of the freshman and JV basketball teams, and a leader on the Varsity soccer team. Although my Varsity soccer team did not allow underclassmen to wear the armband I still helped lead the team. I lead the team freshman and sophomore year in the classroom achieving the academic all-conference award both years. I lead the team on the field my sophomore year with the most goals and assists. I am a good candidate for any team because I am a role player. I know what it takes to win games and that you must sacrifice personal ambition for the success of the team. As well as a student in the classroom I am a student of the field. I am always trying to learn more about the game of soccer. The only other soccer player in my family is my brother so I was challenged to learn the game on my own. I obtained my soccer IQ from studying film of great midfielders like Juan Mata and Andreas Iniesta, modeling my play after them and seeing how they set their teammates and themselves up for success. But, more than a soccer player I am a Christian who values faith and integrity more than skill on the pitch.
