Chris Kyger '11 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Chris Kyger. I enjoy many things such as hanging out with friends and listening to music, but above all, I love soccer. I am committed to training on my own year-round. I shovel snow to have a place to practice in the Winter. I get outside to further my skills and technique almost everyday, and lift weights 6 days weekly. I am 5' 11'', 155 lbs, and have played soccer almost all my life. I am strongly interested in playing at the next level, and want to be involved with soccer long after college. This past year, I have earned All League 1st Team for the second year, 1st Team All District, and a Fourth Year Award for earning 4 Varsity letters in soccer. I offer hard work, leadership, and drive to my team. As a player I feel that it is my duty to be the best that I can be, and to help my teammates become the best that they can be. I love to lead by example and to see my hard work and commitment rub off on teammates. I would like to attend a school anywhere relatively close to Ohio, so I can become more independent while still having the option to visit home a bit. I am very open to different types of schools to possibly attend. I haven't decided on a certain major, but am thinking I want to do something in the environmental, medical, or nutrition areas. My athletic goals are to play at the highest level possible and to make my team better.
