Player of the Game multiple times
Playing soccer in a variety of locations and for different coaches has shaped me into a highly qualified and experienced player. After playing soccer in Rhode Island on ODP and a travel team, I played for 6 years in Germany. Germany's more technical style of play has taught me superior ball control and excellent passing. My current team in California is teaching me the value of team chemistry on and off the field. I grew the most as a freshman in high school, where I made the Varsity team but sat the bench most of the year. I learned the best players played and the rest sat the bench. I was determined to be a starter my sophomore year, I trained all summer and my determination paid off as I won the Most Improved Player award and was the player with the most playing time of the year playing every minute of every game our team played. My travels as an Air Force military brat has taught me to become adaptable, unafraid of change, and brave. I believe my transition to college, even if it's away from home, will be easy. Being the oldest of 6 kids, I'm familiar with leadership, cooperation, teamwork and loyalty. I have a strong interest in politics, justice and compliance, which falls in line with my goal to become a lawyer.
