Prayag Jina '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Prayag Jina and I am from Aurora, Ohio. I am a 2014 graduate and my primary position is Central Midfield. As a central midfielder player, my greatest strengths are my ability to maintain possession of the ball and looking for passes that can start attacks. I also play as a winger on either side. With my quick feet, my goal is to try to take on the defender and either go for goal or cross it to the waiting forward

Some of my soccer achievements include a 4 year High School Varsity player, helping Aurora to the Final 4 in the Ohio Division I States, selected on the ODP Region II team (’96: Selected across 16 States) for the past four years; invitation to the US Soccer Id2 Camp (only one selected from Ohio) under the guidance of US National Coaching staff, and a key member of the national ranked premier Everest Soccer Club  U18 Black which won the OYSAN State Cup in 2013 and participated in the Region II finals in Iowa . I was named to the All-Conference Team as a sophomore and as a Junior and I also carry a 3.95 GPA. I was also captain of the Aurora High School in 2013

My future goals and aspirations include becoming a professional soccer player. I would really like to do this because it has been my dream as a kid, and my passion for the game takes it to an extreme. On the other hand, I would also like to study Sports Medicine or Business in the future, as it can be my fall back option. As a student athlete, my hope is to play in a competitive college program that allows me to grow as a person and as a soccer player, while at the same time contribute to the success of the program on and off the field.

During the next several months, I will be attending several showcase tournaments with Everest Soccer Club U18 Black. The first of this will be the Disney showcase staring on the 27th Dec in Orlando Florida. Full schedule for our games are on the following links
