Personal Statement
My name is Alex Obbey and I attend Marion L. Steele in Amherst, Ohio. My love for soccer has not wavered since my first touch on the ball at age 5. Now in high school, my sites are focused on playing for a respected collegiate program. Knowing how important grades are, I have attained a 3.7 GPA in the high honors curriculum at school. I have overcome many physical obstacles throughout my soccer years which has helped me gain more drive, determination, and stamina. Soccer is what I love, and I want to reach the highest level I can while continuing to improve my game. I think the best fit for me might be a mid to larger college or university since I am unsure of my career path.
