Joshua Hendrickson '15 Recruiting Profile

I began playing soccer at age six, and since that time it has had a lasting impression on my life. I’ve always aspired to play at the collegiate level soccer. The chance for any high school student to play a college sport is a dream in itself, for it has always been a dream of mine. I firmly believe this opportunity could change my life dramatically.

I have great ball handling skills and very strong legs to push myself during the hardest times in games. I am a team captain so I know what it takes to lead a team with strength, courage and humility on and off the field. I respect my coaches, friends and peers which makes me very teachable. I work hard on and off the field, always striving to do my best.

Academically I study hard, am diligent and enjoy learning very much. I am active in young life, ping pong club and have volunteered at our local homeless shelter. I enjoy time with my family and am very easy going.

I would love to attend a college where I can get a great education and push myself to continue achieving in the class room and on the field. I’m open to the possibilities that are before me; however it is very important to me to find the right college match at the highest level of competition available. I want soccer to continue to shape me into a better person and a better player. As a collegiate athlete I wish to continue to evolve my game to become the best player I can possibly be.
