My dream is to someday play for a professional soccer team. I will do what I have to in order to realize that dream. I am a solid A/B honors student, an Eagle Scout candidate, am involved in community service and veterans organizations. I play for a Premier UK team in Mebane, NC; play on a classic travel team for Mebane Youth Soccer Association (MYSA); and as a freshman this year at Woods Charter school was a starting Midfielder/Striker. I scored 23 goals and had 4 assists. Next year I hope to to double that number. I have just run my first 5 minute mile and have been a member of the Cross-Country team at Woods. I made the varsity basketball team this year as a freshman, but opted to place all my focus on soccer as the MYSA season will begin soon.
My parents are both veterans, which I am proud of, but my Mother is unable to work and their income is not enough to send me to a good college. I have a small college fund,
but it is not nearly enough. My parents and I are depending on my ability to obtain a soccer scholarship to enable me to play for and receive a good education at a college or university. It is very important to me to get a great education first and be able to play
for a great athletic program as a soccer player.
