Griffin Metzko '16 Recruiting Profile

I love playing soccer.  I have been playing soccer since the third grade.  Began playing high school varsity soccer in the 8th grade as a starter.  When it comes to soccer I give 100% all the time and I expect my teammates to do the same.  I was team caption this year and am a leader on and off the field.  I have played offense and defense. For the last two years I have played center back and striking mid fielder and have scored 10+ goals this year by moving up on corners or free kicks.  I have a strong throw in which reaches the mouth of the goal and had as many assists by throw ins.  Last year our team won the NYS Section IV, Class D Title.  This year we lost the sectional title in sudden death.  I am looking to get a great education and play soccer at the same time.
