I have been playing soccer for 11 years. I started out when I was young as a field player until I truly found my passion in the net. I believe through the sport of soccer I have grown into a better person, athlete and especially a teammate. I love the challenge that I am the last real defense on the field for my team. I work hard to build my team up if we fall behind and to celebrate if we are in the lead.
My goals for my high school career are to be the best student athlete I can be. I believe I can achieve this through hard work and dedication both in the classroom on the practice field and during games. I had the honor of being placed on the JV team my freshman year in high school and have gotten a real feel for the program that Northport High School offers. As a sophomore I was the starting JV keeper and train with both the JV and Varsity teams. I was brought up for the finals and now have placement on the Varsity team as the starting goal keeper for the 2014-15 school year. The finals has opened my eyes to the challenges that lay ahead, I am extremely focused on trying to be the best keeper I can be for Northport High School. Playing at an elite level with my Club team and playing with my school team truly challenges my abilities and I keep learning everyday.
My aspirations for my college career are to make sure I am picking the appropriate choice academically as well as a great program for soccer.
