Patrick Mylod '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Patrick D. Mylod and it is my dream to play soccer at the collegiate level. I am 5'7" about 130 lbs and expected to grow much more. I've always had a great touch along with great sense of positioning. I just turned 17 years old and am still smaller than most of my competitors but have proved that I can compete with anybody, any size. This just proves my potential as a future college soccer player. My coaches tell me all the time that once I fill out and grow to my full size, I will be the best player on the field and will run circles around my teammates. I can also be a leader, as I was Captain of my Freshman team and played on my Freshman team as an 8th grader. I was chosen because I'm well respected by my peers and prove my abilities on and off the field. I played for my Varsity Soccer Team during my junior year and competed well. I didnt start every game, but when I did, they were important, including big rival games and our two Sectional games. I am very open to what kind of college I want to go to. Financial assistance is going to be important to me as my family will have a high need. I would like to go to a school with an average - above average academic level, but mainly somewhere that can challenge me because I dont want to just take the easy way out. My goal would be to become a starter by at least my junior season. I'm very open to the location of my college along with all of the other factors that go into deciding a college because my main goal is to play soccer at the highest level possible.
