Andrew Calhoun '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'11" Senior from Brewerton, NY.  I attend PV Moore High School, a Class A District in Central Square, NY.  I play all forward and midfield positions. During my sophomore year I was JV Captain.  During my junior year, I played Varsity. I also play for Soccer Central, an elite club team in Central NY.  I play indoor and outdoor soccer with Soccer Central and participate in their fundamental and fitness training. This past winter I had the unique opportunity to participate in their College Level training.  I have been a starting player for my school and club teams the past four years.  In addition, I train students in the Central Square Soccer Academy and I am a New York State certified referee.  I have refereed both indoor and outdoor soccer teams up to age U16, including tournaments. 

I hope to go to a two or four year university where I can play soccer and make an impact on my school's team as a freshman.   I am looking for a college that has a good academic reputation and professors who are known for working with student-athletes to ensure their success on the field and in class.
