Santiago Lucero '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Santiago Lucero. I am currently a sophomore attending St. Michael's high school in Santa Fe, New Mexico. My life has been filled with a life long love for the game, having played since the age of 6, and my career consisting of a handful of club teams and off season indoor soccer. I have obtained a 4.2 GPA, and am among the top of my class. I am a starter for my varsity team at outside mid. I am a very versatile player, and have use of both feet, and play at more than one position. I am very dedicated to the game, and promote daily exercise and a good diet. I am captain of my club team, Sparta FC, coached by Alvin Valdez. I bring a positive energy to the squad. As a captain I encourage my teammates and am quick to fix issues on and off the field. I am very disciplined, I play a very intense game and play in the now, I quickly recover from my mistakes and fight to win the ball back. I focus on improving my game to be the best I can be, and keep a detailed log of my mistakes and ways I can improve as a player to maximize my soccer career
