Nicholas Ruggiero '17 Recruiting Profile

I consider myself to be a very fortunate person.   I have a great family, good friends, attend an excellent school, and I'm healthy physically, mentally, and spiritually.  But with all this, I'm also lucky to know exactly what I want to pursue in my studies and professional career.  

My parents often tell me that thirty years ago, a career in the sport of soccer was much more of a fantasy than a reality.  But today, because of all the other passionate people who came before me, the sport of soccer is a thriving business, and growing every year.  I want to do my part to continue that success.  I enjoy studying how soccer has evolved over the last 50 years, and thinking of where it will be in the next 50 years.

I would like to spend as much time as possible, in the sport of soccer, on the field, and when that time is over, I want to continue to help the growth of the sport that I love.
