Unlike other people who I play soccer with right now I did not start soccer at an early age. As a child I was very versatile and with my overall athletic ability could play pretty much any sport. Even though other sports such as football, basketball, and baseball were not as appealing to me as soccer it still helped me as individual with the sense of trying new things and being open minded. It wasn’t until I was 12 that I found the sport that I love today, and with that my soccer career began. I started off very late and because I was so far behind everyone I played with, I had to learn as quickly as possible. The first team that I played for was a travel team in North Andover called the Falcons. Within this experience I had my first touches on the soccer ball, and finally committed to a sport. I left the Falcons in the fall of 2008 because my family and I moved to a new town. In this town, which is the town I live in now there was a soccer complex 15 minutes away, in which I capitalized on and joined their club team. Their team name was the Phantoms FC, and this is the first club experience I got in my soccer career. Within this club I got my first indoor training sessions and experienced the intensity of playing at a higher level. Even though I can play in pretty much any possession within this club I established myself as being more of a defender. I eventually out grew this club and wanted to get to an even higher level in which I went to the Classics in the fall of 2009. Here within the Classics I established my first touch and ball control. Since I started off playing for their u15 team, and then was offered a spot on their u16 team in which I could double roster. I took the offer and with all the playing time I obtained on both teams I really opened up my soccer skills and soccer sense. With the help of the coaching class in this club I got my edge on the competition, and was coached up in a tactical, physical, and technical basis very well. I am still with the same club today, and I am a way better player than I was when I first started. In the years I have played coaches have said I am very coachable and this is one of my best traits. I am the captain of my team and I want to push myself and my team to the highest level possible. My dream for soccer is to go and play at the highest level physically possible for me, and it starts with college. My greatest goal as of right now is to play in college and use my coaches to get the best that I can be. I always compete within myself and see if I can have a better touch, make a better pass, or win a 50/50 better etc. Outside of soccer I want to go to college and study criminal justice and a little business in which my eventual goal would be starting my own investigation business. All of my goals start now, and depend on how I push myself and can make my life better to reach my final outcome.
