My name is Jacob Dunkerley. I have been playing soccer since I was very little. Ive played on a number of clubs including Rochester Youth Soccer Association (RYSA) and Seacoast United. I have also played for my middle school and my highschool every year. In 6th grade through 8th grade I was a starter. Freshman year I started Junior Varsity and scored the most goals on the team. Sophomore year through Junior year I was a starter as a striker and sometimes a midfielder, as situations changed. I excell as a player because I work well with others and I an focused around team play and I am often the start of a play that leads to a goal. I can make plays happen and I can finish when I need to. Junior year I made 4th runners up all-state with the most goals on my team.
I am nice and I enjoy being around the poeple I play with. I am always friends with my teammates and I make the atmosphere better when I am in a good mood. I always act as a leader and as a role model to the younger players because they need someone to look up to and I enjoy helping them.
In academics I have always done well and I have taken a few Honors courses with lots of College Prep courses. My overall GPA for freshman year though Junior year has been a 93.0 and I always try my hardest in my classes.
My goals for college are to play for a good team and to influence the players and the coaches and to help bring success to the team. My classes are very important to me and I have not decided a major yet, but am thinking in the field of sports management.
