Devin Hardy '17 Recruiting Profile

I am excited about graduating Merrimack High School this coming June 2017. I have been playing Soccer since I was able to walk. My ultimate goal is to be able to play collegiate soccer while earning my degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am aware that earning my degree is priority #1 (my parents continue to remind me everyday) but I still hold that dream to play professional soccer some day.  As I continue to grow physically and mentally I find challenging myself in everything do. A little about me I'm the middle child with a older brother currently in college and a younger sister always in my room. It has been challenging for me for as long as I know to stand out while with (2) siblings but the thing I have learned about myself is I never give up. I have worked for everything I have and know this is a quality most my age don't go thru. Which sets me apart and has helped me grow.  Currently I am in my Fall semester of my senior year in high school, playing varsity soccer, our team is good and I play every game I know I need to improve but very proud that I am one of the fastest on the team with amazing skills.  Working a steady job (Shaws) that I have held since I turned 16 has taught me a lot about the real world. I have a car and girlfriend and a dog that I will miss when I go away to college. But the most important is classes I have set myself up to graduate high school with more credits then required and have tried my hardest to get the best grades possible.  As my parents say (there is always room for growth) and look forward to improving my GPA and learning my profession in college.     Devin
