2015 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I am my club team's starting center back. My best assets are my speed and one on one defending. This year, we have captured State Cup and President's Cup for NH. We also took 3rd place for Region I Champions League and are in the 1st place spot for NH U17.
This fall soccer season I am leading my team as captain and playing center back. We have a new DII former college coach and athletic director who came out of retirement to work with us. It is nice to get coaching from a college soccer coach who has had the most amount of victories in the history of his school. I think it will help me be better prepared for college soccer.
I have been a varsity player since I was a freshman. My varsity team had a great season last fall and finished in 3rd with a record of 12-3-1. Only allowing 8 goals for the season, making us one of the top defensive teams in the state! I played marking back and enjoyed shutting down the strikers.
In college, I would like to work with a coach that is personable, approachable and passionate about soccer. I love the speed, strategy and technical skills of the game. I am not one to complain out on the field and I know the value of working together as a team. The defense is just as important as the offense.
