Scoring the game winner in the South Titan Classic final, my sophomore year was a huge experience in my life. It showed me and my teammates, coaches and family that I was ready for the big games, the clutch moments. It gave me the confidence to demand the ball then to wait for it.
I've been playing soccer for nine years, before that I was running track and playing basketball so the speed was there but there was something about playing with a team and passing the ball, scoring goals and celebrating with the team that grew my passion for soccer. I've played with 3 teams in my career my first team was WFC(Wichita Futbol Club) they we're very good and It was my first time playing soccer so I started on their reserve team but it only took one season for me to join the competitive team. I ended up leaving that team after my first competitive season to go to a traveling team called Los Ninos Perdidos (my current team) but I also got a secondary team called Aztecas. I've grown so much as a player and a man playing this sport and I hope I can continue to play the sport I love into college. Thanks for reading!
