Jacob Ediger '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old.  I have enjoyed playing other competitive sports such as cross country, track and basketball.  All the other sports however, were to maintain my competitive athletic soccer skills year round.  I try to train in Colorado at high elevations every summer to prepare for the high school soccer season and play indoors on as many as 4 teams simultaneously to stay in peak performance during the winter months.

My coaches on both high school and club teams look to me to be a leader on the field, communicating plays to other players and guiding plays as needed.  I have played at the varsity level since my freshman year of high school.  I am a hard working individual and work collaboratively with my teammates.  I have learned more from some of my losses than I do my wins, but self evaluation is an ongoing part of my learning process.

I look forward to demonstrating for you my skills and abilities on and off the field.  I would be the hardest working player on your team and would strive to represent your school with the upmost character.
