Michael McGee '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior at Plano High School. I am an honors student with a 3.5 GPA and a 29 ACT score. My passions are theatre and soccer. Theatre is fun, but soccer is my favorite. When one first looks at my goalie stats they may think that I am just a mediocre player. However, what the stats do not explain is that during my senior and junior years I only played goalie half of the time. I view myself as a unusual athlete, I am 6' 3" and 210 pounds. I have the reflexes of a ninja, and the leg power of a kangaroo. Not to mention the speed of a cheetah. I can punt a soccer ball over 80 yards and with the accuracy of a laser guided missile. I have, on rare occasions, punted a ball farther than our mechanical punting machine. My coach dislikes me because I ripped a hole our game nets with one of my shots. I started playing soccer my freshman year, and have picked up on the game quickly. I am a quick learner and a great leader. I would love the chance to play collegiate soccer somewhere where I can get a great education as well.
