Yousif Khoshaba '15 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Yousif and I'm from Iraq. I've been in the U.S for five years now and I'm also an American citizen. We came here because of the war. It's not safe to live in that country at this time.

I have been playing soccer since I was five years old. I figured out that soccer is my main sport; it's just something I like to do. I know that playing in college is an opportunity that could change my whole life.

I have good ball skills and excellent passes. I am always encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable on the field and I always try to be one of the hardest working players.

In the classroom, I study hard and try my best to get a high GPA. I always consider myself as a leader and as a good example for other younger kids.

I want to attend a college where I can be a student athlete. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers. I want to make my parents proud because they brought me here so that I can have a successful future.
