Justin Rutherford '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1'' 145lb forward from McHenry, Illinois. I have played soccer since I was four years old and as I have continued to develop, so has my passion for the game. I have always aspired to play soccer at the next level, and playing collegiate soccer is a dream I have had from an early age. For the past three years I have played for the Crystal Lake Force Elite and have led my team in scoring each year. I have also had the opportunity to represent the Illinois ODP State Team in 2012, 2013, and in 2015. I currently play for the Chicago Inferno CL Elite in NISL Premiership 1. 

It is important to me to go to a college with great academics as well. I am interested in studying Physical Therapy or something related to it but Engineering also draws my interest. I currently have a GPA of 4.4. I am also involved in Key Club and am a member of the National Honors Society, as a result I have many opportunities to participate in volunteer work. I plan to work hard not only to meet my goals both on the field and in the classroom, but as a member of my community as well.
