I started kicking a soccer ball at age 4. Being an athlete as a child, I played five different sports, but none of them attracted me the way soccer did. Since then, my passion for the game of soccer has extremely increased as the years have passed. I look to keep playing the game I love and everyday I try and find ways to improve my skills and knowledge of the game.
I have had the opportunity to start on Hinsdale Central's Varsity soccer team since I was a Sophomore. I have never missed a game in my high school career with an injury or an academic reason. I started as a Central Midfielder every game of my Freshman season. My Sophomore year, I started all 24 matches as our team went undefeated in the West Suburban Silver Conference and reaching the Sectional Finals for Illinois. The past season as a Junior, I started every game was nominated to the All-Area Honorable Mention in Illinois. Our soccer team not only went undefeated in our conference back to back years for the first time in school history, but we also were the second varsity soccer team in school history to finish the regular season undefeated. Going into the playoffs, our team was ranked Number 5 in the United States by NSCAA. We fell short of our dream's of winning the 3A State Championship unfortunately, but the opportunity to play for my school and my community was more than I could ever ask or wish for. The responsibility of playing for my school helps me stay on top of academics and gives me the opportunity to represent my school, which is by far the best experience I've ever had the chance to be a part of.
